In the Beginning...

“Teach us to care and not to care."
T.S. Eliot

(I'm definitely on this path.)

Here's a T.S. Eliot quote that I disagree with:

“In my beginning is my end.”
T.S. Eliot

I believe:

"In the end is my beginning."
or as Pastor Keith in Tennessee told me:

Look at the end to see what the beginning really was.

Greetings!
“In my beginning is my end.”
T.S. Eliot

I also disagree with this quote because my beginning can not predict my ending due to the fact that life changes depending on the path you take. And any path you start on is not necessarily the path you will stay on.
The fact that Jesus is always there, walking with me, leading me or carrying me on any path I take is what keeps me going.

Blessings, Regina

Regina,
Looks like we think alike sister. Keep on walking in the light. I know I see more and more of the light every day.
Peace and blessings,

Greetings sista's
"In my beginning is my end."
Simply speaks to the fact that God created life and as beautiful as life can be, we are mortal. The end result of mortality is death, therefore every day you are living as you age you are dying. So enjoy
every day God has given you to live, because your beginning will
eventually lead to you end. Eliot and God left how we live in the in between up to you. Rick HU/GRAD 87

Rick,
I still like this quote much better:
"In the end is my beginning."
and what Pastor Keith in Tennessee told me:

"Look at the end to see what the beginning really was."

Pastor Keith, as with most Clergy has lead you to hindsight. Definition of Hindsight: Wisdom or
Knowledge after an event has occured. Our people need to be taught foresight. Gods scriptures are here to give us wisdom & Knowledge now. Black folk have been
looking back too long. Ask God for the wisdom to see the light at the end of the tunnel & the strength to move swiftly towards it.
I come in peace, Ric

Rick,
I appreciate your sentiments and the peace that you're sending with it.

Pastor Keith is a prophet. He foretells things that will happen and also understands things that have happened. I would never lump most Pastors, Reverends, Ministers into one category. I never presume to know what certain people do, know, or think.

His advice to me has been INVALUABLE and quite wise. I will be forever grateful to him and his wife.

Jim jones, Bishop Weeks & Juanita Bynum all professed to be prophets.
Even the bible warns to be careful of false prophets and fortellers (deuteronomy 13:1-3).I don't presume to know all, but I do know God has always been with you. You have and will always be a brilliant, intelligent women. God blessed you with this talent from birth. You never needed Pastor Keith, friends, bloggers or Spike (Wake upppp!!). Look inside youself for the strength God has already given you.
Congrat's on the Blogspot and I wish you much success in all you literary endeavours. This has always been your calling.

I come & go in PEACE,

To list Jim Jones and Juanita Bynum in the same sentence as false prophets doesn't seem to be starting off on a good foot. I don't even know that much about Juanita Bynum, but my goodness...from what I know about the woman, she's got a lot to say that people, especially women need to here. As a woman, I'm sure I could learn A GREAT DEAL from Juanita Bynum.

FALSE is the operative word there when you mention the false prophets in the Bible. There will always be false prophets and there are also true prophets. .

You have YOUR opinion and I have MINE.....With all due respect, I don't think you would know what I need or needed. God does, however, know. And as I said before, Pastor Keith has given me LOTS of advice that has saved me years of disillusionment and uncertainty.

Thanks for the good words on the blog.....as for my calling.....we shall see. That's kind of like, for me and God to decide. I will continue to talk to God about that. God has blessed me with MANY talents. I hope to put ALL of them to work.

Praise God! God is good.

I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil; as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Dear Alicia,
I've been taking inventory of all the people I knew who were acting like roaring lions and the enemy had his way for awhile. Even after taking a firm grip on his tail, he had me swinging from this to that and thinking this way and that way, and I found that every time I opened my mouth there would be the same adversary watching and waiting to cut me down. He doesn't give up!
Now when it comes to adversaries, they appear in many forms, but only through people. Satan MUST have a BODY to occupy in order to reach his target. So, you must watch the BODIES and BUSYBODIES who enter and reenter your life.
This week, I learned some very profound lessons from Pastor Keith, may God continue to impart knowledge to him that he may lead us is the right direction, Amen.
I'll stop here. Anonymous 2

These bloggers don't know who I am, but you do. You know I've been in the church all my life. I have never had any affiliation with Satan. Your mom & I went to church on many Sundays while you were sleeping. I knew you back when, I'll stop here.
Again I come & go in peace.

So, I guess your reference to me sleeping means what?
That was a loooooong time ago. I wouldn't say that I know who you are.

Let's end this thread of conversation. It's going nowhere. Let's move on. I have an interesting post on film from this week. That might be more fun for you to check out.
